So there was me thinking OK so what exactly is a Zen-wotsit? I did what any nosey person would do - I Googled! It seems Zentangle is actually a trade marked name - and this form of art is also known as Zendoodle, or when done in the circurlar style as on Carol's Blog it is sometimes referred to as Zendala. Anyhow I had to get my black Gel Pen and have a bash and here is what I came up with.
I couldn't resist adding a little colour and as the challenge this week on My Time To Craft is "Black & White plus One" I thought I could submit the card I have made for the challenge with my attempt at Zendoodling.

This is great Phree-really interesting. You are very talented. I'm off to find out more as I'd like to have a go myself, although not up to your standard I'm sure!

That is amazing Phree - seriously interesting! Your example is gorgeous but this means something to me on another level. 'They' have come up with a name for the way I have doodled all my adult life. I have rough examples in my notebook. This is going to now occupy the next half hour while I search the net a bit, a lot.
ReplyDeleteFantastic doodling! Thanks for taking part in the MTTC challenge this week xx
ReplyDeleteA whole card - wow! I've done some ATCs and enjoyed it, takes a lot of doodling to fill a space like this though. I've never yet had the nerve to take 3 1/2 x 2 1/2" bits of card into a meeting... ;)
ReplyDeleteThat is amazing Phree - fabulous doodling!! I love how you designed your card too!
ReplyDeleteReminds me of Aboriginal art. Like it.
ReplyDeleteStunning and you should frame it!
ReplyDeletePhree that is one fab piece of work & well done on your achievement.
ReplyDeleteThank you Phree, it's strikingly beautiful card. Another one for me to frame.
