What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday - 72

Good morning WOYWWers and thanks for all the lovely comments last week.  Short post from me today as I have to rush off to the dentist soon.  Will be back later to enjoy a good snoop round this week's desks. Here's my desk as looks this morning -  I left it like that on Tuesday before heading out to work the late shift.  I meant to mount those stamps on the foam and cut them out after work last night, but ended up watching telly till nearly bedtime instead.

If you're new to WOYWW and wondering what this is all about, head over to Julia's Blog to find out more.

  1. Tidy mess to snoop on there and 2 bottles of StaZon cleaner! That's serious!
A good tip if you don't already do it... when you mount your stamps, stick all the UMs on to the mounting foam, then roughly cut them all together off the main sheet. Sprinkle with talc (or cornflour) before cutting out around the UMs and the powder stops all the stickiness and makes it easier.

  2. OWWW! Dentist. Love them for cleaning your teeth, which feel so good afterward, but don't love them if you are in any pain. Hope all is well. These look like awesome new stamps. Happy WOYWW (no. 12).

  5. The stamps look good and go to the top of the class for mounting them up instead of just sticking them to the block.

Sticking stamps onto umount and cutting them out has to be the stickiest job in the world, I'm not surprised the TV won!!

  19. I like the portion of image on yellow paper next to the ultra thick powder. You are good to be mounting new stamps so soon - and Jo#s tips are priceless too - it really helps the teeth gnashing part of the process!! By now the dentist visit is but a distant memory, hope al went well!!
