Good Morning WOYWWers, first let me thank everyone who kindly wished me well with my dental appointment last week. It was just a tiny filling that didn't take too long. For anyone wondering what WOYWWers are you need to visit the inestimable (ain't that a great word)
Ms Dunnit's Blog where all will be revealed.
This week there is not a lot happening - my lovely new Sir Tim die is lying where I left it several days ago because my mojo has done a runner. I had a car crash on Sunday on my way to work, I hit some black ice and lost control, thankfully no other cars were around, just me, the car and that nasty patch of ice. I wasn't hurt much - just a bit sore and stiff, but the car is a write off. Anyhow I just haven't felt like doing much of anything except blubbering which I assume is the shock reaction. Hoping today I can get some crafting done cuz I have some sample projects to complete for Elusive Images.
Heading off now for a wander round some other workdesks and perhaps find something to kick some life back into my mojo.
You poor thing! Hope the aches and pains go away quickly and you are on the mend very soon. It's bound to affect your mojo. Take care of yourself x

Oh my goodness. Glad you were not seriously hurt - black ice already up there! Sorry to hear about the car though.
ReplyDeleteAm sure when the shock wears off you will find your mojo - if it helps I am so envious of that die. Why not just cut some out with printed paper, try a bit of distress ink on and construct.#46
That die is a really great one and mine gets used a lot. Sorry to hear about your mishap - take it easy and I will be looking out for something using this die when you are feeling better.

ReplyDeletethanks for the peek....I was at the dentist as well last week, first time I've been with no injection
ReplyDeletehugs
Oh dear gal - it is indeed shock and if it doesn't pass, seek help, it's quite easy to feel in a slump if it goes on. Poor you, and I'm sorry about the car - so bl***y inconvenient! Bet your mojo will come tearing back as soon as you feel better.
ReplyDeletePhree, I am so sorry to hear about you and the car and the black ice. I am sure the accident and the emotional trauma is what is causing the crying spells, and I'm sure you'll be better soon. Hopefully, the weeps and the aches will get better about the same time.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the sweet words you left on my blog. I'm still moving slowly (sort of like you), but trying to start visiting people who visited me. Happy very belated WOYWW (# 15).
Poor you! What a terrible shock for you but I'm so glad you are safe. The car is only a car and can be replaced... you cannot! Just thank that angel who was on your shoulder and try to rest and relax to get over the shock. Dr Bach Rescue Remedy Spray is fantastic for shock and it's a natural flower remedy.
ReplyDeletePop back and visit Thursday 28th and Sun 23rd on my blog for the tale of what happened to the Palm House and more pics. Glad it brought back happy memories.
