It's beautiful and thanks for sharing it with us.

Beryl T xxBerylhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10490679271651403511noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16430081980076892.post-59271828330568881212008-08-11T16:06:00.000+01:002008-08-11T16:06:00.000+01:00This is so pretty, sparkly yet elegant, love the c...This is so pretty, sparkly yet elegant, love the colours.Lavender Rosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02394679798826214084noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16430081980076892.post-90460434455094119632008-08-11T13:59:00.000+01:002008-08-11T13:59:00.000+01:00That card is beautiful! That card is beautiful!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16430081980076892.post-66453772961260335022008-08-11T00:16:00.000+01:002008-08-11T00:16:00.000+01:00Hi again jo, to be honest, despite the fact I have...Hi again jo, to be honest, despite the fact I have been eyeing up Winspiration's foils for a long time I never actually got round to buying any as other things tended to keep pushing them down my wish list, errrrr blame Glenda Waterworth for producing so many lovely stamp designs and CDs.....

However win kindly sent me a starter pack to try when I said I would make some cards for her Foilplay site.... so I am a newbie to this. I do however have one of those new Tsukineko "Essential Glue Pads" - its' kind of like Versamark but stickier as it is a real glue. I believe versamark is tacky because it contains glycerine rather than an actual adhesive, however don't quote me on that as I am not sure if that information is acurate. I also have a pot of Stamp 'N' Bond - bought it by mistake when I was a total newbie thinking I was buying clear embossing powder. The Stamp 'N' Bond works like an EP in that you stamp first with Versamark, sprinkle on the Stamp N Bond then heat it. However after heating it stays tacky for a while and you are supposed to be able to sprinkle on glitter or use the rub on foils while it is tacky. I plan to experiment with it this week some time along with the "Essential Glue Pad".Phreehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07070849887873586576noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16430081980076892.post-18798245315727809442008-08-10T23:50:00.000+01:002008-08-10T23:50:00.000+01:00Ah yes, they are different. I'll still be interested to see how you get on. Can your foils be used with stamps and Versmark like gold leaf? Sounds like the possibilities could be endless.Johttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09728636504467342180noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16430081980076892.post-50613433943242587902008-08-10T23:33:00.000+01:002008-08-10T23:33:00.000+01:00jo, I think you are thinking about the wrong kind ...jo, I think you are thinking about the wrong kind of foils. The kind I have from Foilplay are the kind you rub on over adhesive. For example you use something like a quickie glue pen to write a message then rub the very thin foil over it. These foils are tissue thin, I dont think you can put them thru a cuttlebug, but winspiration would know - if you check out her site she does have a FAQ section for using foils.Phreehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07070849887873586576noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16430081980076892.post-24734095580133570992008-08-10T23:24:00.000+01:002008-08-10T23:24:00.000+01:00Stunning card, Phree ! I'm about to get a Cuttlebug and have seen some great pieces made with foil run through the Cuttlebug. I've never used foil before but might have to add it to my wishlist when I've seen your samples. Good luck with those.Johttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09728636504467342180noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16430081980076892.post-29927762741675999952008-08-10T21:04:00.000+01:002008-08-10T21:04:00.000+01:00Wow - the card is just stunning - thank you, Phree...Wow - the card is just stunning - thank you, Phree!Foil Playhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15076983381133993883noreply@blogger.com
